Daytona Beach police announced the arrests of 11 people and the seizure of hundreds of grams of narcotics Friday as a result of their latest operation aiming to curb violence in the city.

Volusia County deputies said that the home had been reported several times in the past regarding “narcotics activity.”

The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office is set to discuss the dismantling of a drug trafficking organization led by a former Florida corrections officer Tuesday morning.
