Bunnell Elementary principal resigns amid investigation into assembly that singled out Black students
The principal of Bunnell Elementary School, who had been on leave since a controversial assembly that singled out Black students with low test scores, has officially resigned, according to Flagler Schools.

A release shows that the assembly included 4th and 5th-grade students, and Flagler County School Board Chair Cheryl Massaro told News 6 that it was held for โAfrican American students that scored below a three on testing.โ
Bunnell Elementary School employee tests positive for COVID-19
FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. A Bunnell Elementary School employee has tested positive for COVID-19 and in the coming days, its possible that students and other employees could be asked to quarantine. The Flagler County Health Department will be notified and conduct contact tracing to determine who has been in close contact with this individual. The health department will monitor the situation in case any additional cases should arise.
