DARREN WALLER

Raiders agree to 2-year extension with Hunter Renfrow

The Las Vegas Raiders have locked up another key player with a new contract, agreeing to a two-year, $32 million extension with Pro Bowl slot receiver Hunter Renfrow. Renfrow had 103 catches for 1,038 yards and nine TDs as he became quarterback Derek Carr's most reliable target. Renfrow has 208 catches for 2,299 yards and 15 TDs in his three seasons in the NFL. Carr signed a three-year, $120.5 million extension in April and edge rusher Maxx Crosby got a four-year, $94 million deal in March. Renfrow, Waller and offseason acquisition Davante Adams give the Raiders one of the most productive trios of pass catchers in the league.

Raiders' Waller, Ferrell meet Air Force members before draft

NFL Draft Football A logo of the 2022 NFL football draft is projected at the Fountains of Bellagio on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, in Las Vegas, the day before the draft. The man in charge of putting together the NFL draft, an event in some ways as difficult as staging a Super Bowl, stood Wednesday near the theater built exclusively for these proceedings. MATTHEW AND AIDANSuper Bowl champion quarterback Matthew Stafford was the top overall choice in the 2009 NFL draft. Unlike Stafford, Hutchinson had a star player as a father.
