It's been 14 years since the disappearance of Michelle Parker, an Orlando mother who was last seen dropping of her children at her ex-fiancé’s home.

Police searched the backyard of a home near Texas Avenue Wednesday in what’s believed to be a new chapter in the case of missing Orlando mother Michelle Parker.

On the anniversary of her disappearance Parker’s familt and Orlando Police Chief Orlando Rolon discussed the questions they are still trying to answer. “It’s been a long nine years and the hurt does not go away,” Brad Parker, Michelle’s father said. Gayle Parker, Michelle’s stepmother, said the 33-year-old mom was last seen with her children at her ex’s house.
