Patients at Nemours Children’s Hospital got a special surprise from Santa Claus and some of his helpers.

Patients and families at Nemours Children’s Hospital got a surprise visit from Santa and his elves outside their windows on Wednesday.

Santa and his elves left the North Pole and made their way to the hospital again to do some window washing and most importantly, bring cheer to several young patients.

A group of window washers from A-1 Orange Exterior Building Services dressed up as Santa and elves to surprise patients. The workers wrote special messages and drew pictures while soaping the windows. Organizers say it was a way to help lift the spirits of patients and their families.

The snake bite was reported near Chelwyn Court in Hunters Creek. Orange County Fire Rescue said the boy, estimated to be about 14 years old, was taken to Nemours Children’s Hospital in Lake Nona. No other details, including the boy’s condition, have been released.
