Over the past year, I’ve been following the progress on the massive updates at I-4, SR-417 and the new Wekiva Parkway extension. Now, with much of the work finally complete, it’s time for us to take a closer look.

A 74-year-old Winter Springs man was killed after running a red light and crashing into another car, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

A crash has the northbound lanes of SR-417 shut down in Orlando.

Two people were killed in a head-on crash on a State Road 417 ramp in Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Authorities said the accident occurred at State Road 417 southbound near Red Bug Lake Road and forced a shutdown of both northbound and southbound lanes along State Road 417.
