A man was killed in a two-car crash in Orange County, officials say.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A man was hit and killed by a sedan while crossing Orange Blossom Trail in south Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Troopers said this happened in the area of Orange Blossom Trail and Taft Vineland Road around 9:20 p.m. on Tuesday. The sedan was heading southbound on Orange Blossom Trail, according to troopers. Investigators said the man attempted to cross the southbound lanes and walked into the direct path of the sedan.

ORLANDO, Fla. – A motorcyclist was killed Monday morning in a hit-and-run crash in Orange County, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The fatal crash was reported around 4:45 a.m. at Taft Vineland Road and Satellite Boulevard, just east of Orange Blossom Trail. According to the FHP, a 2013 Mazda sedan was eastbound on Taft Vineland Road and traveled into the westbound lane for an unknown reason. The FHP said the motorcyclist, 38-year-old Jonatanael Torres, of Orlando, was pronounced dead at the scene.
