Florida troopers investigate fatal wreck on John Young Parkway

ORLANDO, Fla. – A 37-year-old Kissimmee man was killed Monday night in a two-car crash in Orange County, the Florida Highway Patrol reported.

The fatal wreck was reported on John Young Parkway at Taft Vineland Road.

Troopers said the man was driving a 2014 Nissan Altima north on John Young Parkway and made a left turn, striking the front of a 2010 Honda Accord that was stopped facing south on John Young Parkway.

The driver of the Altima was taken to Orlando Health, where he died, according to an FHP crash report.

The driver of the Honda, a 40-year-old Orlando man, was not injured, the crash report stated.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts, troopers said.

The crash is under investigation.
