Dreams do come true: Wienermobile coming to Orlando Friday
ORLANDO, Fla. – If you’ve always dreamed of seeing the inside of theOscar Mayer Wienermobile, then this is about to be the best news ever. The iconic Wienermobile is rolling into Orlando on its “coast-to-coast weenie roast” on Friday, according to a news release. After delighting fans in Orlando, the Wienermobile will roll its way to the Florida City Strawberry Festival on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and again on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.Don’t miss this opportunity to have “buns of fun.”

"The hiring process for drivers ("hotdoggers," no lie) for the hot dog-shaped vehicle generated a more than fair amount of online buzz, including CNN coverage, earlier this year. And now these newly minted Wienermobile pilots are steering their ship onto International Drive for a day.The Wienermobile sets up shop at WonderWorks Friday, March 5, from noon to 4 p.m.In a strange twist of fate, you can't buy hot dogs when visiting the Wienermobile. However, you can take pictures to your heart's content, partake in trivia to get an honorary Hotdogger title, and even get a complimentary "Wiener Whistle" (also no lie) (we have one and it's nifty).After that, the giant wiener on wheels heads down to spend the weekend at the Strawberry Festival in Plant City.

Kraft Heinz is looking a team of so-called “Hotdoggers” to drive the 27-foot orange and yellow vehicle across the country. The lucky dogs who get hired will stop at more than 2,000 events, create social media content and conduct news interviews. Carl Mayer created the first Wienermobile in 1936. The company unveiled a Wiener-fleet, including a hot dog-shaped drone, in 2017 but canceled events last year due to COVID-19.
