ORLANDO – The Orlando Police Department is investigating a shooting that resulted in the death of a 25-year-old man over the weekend. Dominique Aldridge was killed following a shooting at the Windsor Cove Apartment complex after 1 a.m. Sunday, police said. ORLANDO – One person is in stable condition and another suffered a minor injury following a shooting at the Windsor Cove Apartments on Saturday, according to the Orlando Police Department. Police said an involved vehicle with gunshot damage was located. A third victim in the shooting refused medical attention, police said. The investigation is ongoing.

One man was struck in the shooting and was taken to a hospital, police said. Video from the scene shows bullet holes in the building and a car covered in crime scene tape.

ORLANDO, Fla. – An Orlando apartment complex plagued by crime could be getting a multi-million dollar makeover. The Windsor Cove Apartments on Mercy Drive may soon undergo a $19.4 million renovation. The existing 256 affordable apartments will be supported by tax credits, HUD and several other local and federal partners. Jerry McGruder lives nearby at the Village on Mercy, a new affordable housing complex on Mercy Drive. He’s happy to see more affordable housing options and hopes he’ll see new additions in the future.
