The FHP said a 2006 Ford pickup was eastbound on Citrus Boulevard and ran over the teen, who was lying in the road for an unknown reason.

Two other vehicles, also traveling east on Citrus, also ran the teen over, the FHP said.

The driver of the first vehicle told troopers that he never saw the teen on the dark road.
