White Hyundai rolls over several times

PALM BAY, Fla. – A driver was killed and a passenger was seriously injured in a crash involving a vehicle speeding through a residential Palm Bay neighborhood, police said.

The crash was reported at 11:13 p.m. Sunday after residents called dispatchers to report it at Eldron Boulevard and Entrada Street in the southeast section of the city, police said.

“It involved a white Hyundai. Witnesses said it was going at a high rate of speed,” Palm Bay police Lt. Mike Bandish told News 6 partner Florida Today.

Bandish said Trace Buck, 25, was traveling north on Eldron when it appears that his vehicle began to flip over and hit a concrete power pole. Buck died at the scene.

“It rolled over several times. The driver was dead at the scene and the passenger was airlifted” to Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Bandish said.

Passenger Sean Nicholas Hall, 27, is in critical condition.

Palm Bay police traffic homicide officers are investigating the crash.
