South Atlantic Avenue reopened in Daytona Beach Shores after gas leak, police say Roadway was closed from Browning to Moore avenues

DAYTONA BEACH SHORES, Fla. – A section of South Atlantic Avenue in Daytona Beach Shores was closed Saturday due to a gas leak caused by construction, according to the Daytona Beach Shores Department of Public Safety.
The roadway was closed in both directions from Browning to Moore avenues, the department said on social media at 9:58 a.m.
The post was updated at 11:39 a.m. to say the leak had been fixed and the roadway reopened.
