ORLANDO, Fla. – A fiery fatal crash early Monday forced the closure of Interstate 4 in Orlando.
The wreck was reported around 1:35 a.m. on I-4 west near Conroy Road.
According to Orlando police, two vehicles were fully engulfed in flames when officers arrived.
One person, whose name has not been released, was pronounced dead. Another person had minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
Drivers were forced off I-4 and onto Conroy Road before the interstate reopened about five hours after the crash.
An investigation is ongoing.
