Crash snarls traffic on Turnpike in St. Cloud

St. CLOUD, Fla. – All northbound lanes of the Florida Turnpike were temporarily shut down Thursday morning in St. Cloud after a crash, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.

The crash occurred around 8:14 a.m. in the area of mile marker 236, near Friars Cove Road, FDOT’s Florida 511 website states, adding traffic was backed up at least two miles.

Only the right shoulder remained blocked as of around 10:30 a.m., according to FDOT.
