COCOA, Fla. – Cocoa police say two teenagers were hurt in a hit-and-run crash Tuesday afternoon with a Honda whose driver failed to obey a stop sign.

Officers responded after 4:30 p.m. to the intersection of Michigan Avenue and University Lane, where it was reported the driver of a silver or gray Honda SUV — believed to be either a Honda Pilot or a Honda CR-V — struck a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old who were riding E-bikes.

The two teens suffered minor injuries in the crash, police said.

The driver of the suspect vehicle was described as a Black male with a thick beard, police said, adding the Honda is expected to have damage to the front-passenger side, specifically the front fender.
