SUMTER COUNTY, Fla. – Lane closures continue on Interstate 75 near Wildwood after a fatal crash Friday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 10 a.m. in the area of mile marker 331.
A vehicle traveling on the County Road 462 overpass lost control, left the overpass, and landed on southbound I-75, troopers said.
The outside and center southbound lanes were shut down at the time of this report, FHP said, adding CR-462 was also closed.
Southbound congestion was reported past mile marker 335, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.
