Eastbound SR-436 reopens after crash involving pedestrian in Altamonte Springs, police say

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – A stretch of eastbound State Road 436 was shut down on Friday morning due to a car crash involving a pedestrian, according to the Altamonte Springs Police Department.

Officers responded to the scene of the crash at Westmonte Drive and State Road 436 near the Chick-fil-A, west of Interstate 4.

Police said the pedestrian was transported to the hospital. The extent of the pedestrian’s injuries was not immediately available.

Eastbound State Road 436 from Westmonte Drive toward the McDonald’s was closed, but has since reopened.
