Orlando area could see tropical moisture next week

ORLANDO, Fla. – A few downpours will be possible, especially along the Space Coast, for the morning commute Thursday, but most will stay dry across Central Florida.

High temperatures will top out in the low to mid-90s, with a 20% chance for rain.

Rain chances stay low over the weekend as temperatures climb back to the mid- to upper 90s.

Rain chances increase early next week as tropical moisture surges in from the Gulf of Mexico.

The National Hurricane Center has an area highlighted for possible tropical development over the weekend. This would not be a potential player locally until early next week.
