Christmas weekend outlook: Mainly dry with above-average temperatures

Rain chances increase on Christmas Day

ORLANDO, Fla. – Happy Saturday! Another pleasantly mild day on tap across Central Florida.

Afternoon highs are expected to hit 76 degrees in Orlando with slightly breezy conditions. A few isolated showers are possible along coastal areas but inland spots are expected to remain dry.

Sunday, clouds are expected to slowly increase across the area with an isolated shower or two possible.

Christmas Day, rain chances begin to increase. During the morning hours a few showers are possible, but chances will be on the rise as we go through the afternoon rain.

Expect a 50% chance for scattered rain and storms with highs climbing into the upper 70s.

Christmas Outlook

A trailing cold front is expected to move through Tuesday. Cooler and drier air will begin to move on Thursday into Friday.
