Here are the strongest winds so far in Central Florida from Hurricane Milton

Rainfall has exceeded foot across parts of Central Florida

ORLANDO, Fla.Hurricane Milton continues to move across Central Florida.

Wind gusts have routinely been greater than 75 mph across most of Central Florida. The strongest gust reported so far was 92 mph in Marineland, Flagler County.

Here are Hurricane Milton’s strongest wind gusts as of 8 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024:

  • Marineland: 92 mph
  • Orlando: 86 mph
  • Daytona Beach: 87 mph
  • Ponce Inlet: 99 mph
  • Kennedy Space Center (KSC): 92 mph

The highest rainfall, as expected, has fallen to the west and north of Orlando.

  • Lake Louisa State Park: 13.05 inches
  • Windermere: 9.61 inches
  • Sanford: 8.48 inches
  • Codys Corner: 6.23 inches
  • Daytona Beach: 5.49 inches

The storm is expected to continue to bring rain and wind to Central Florida through the early afternoon.
