Rounds of storms are possible to begin the week before hotter, drier weather returns

Rain chances remain moderate through the first half of the week

ORLANDO, FLa. – Scattered storms are possible through the rest of Sunday evening, with rain chances around 30–40%.

Overnight temperatures will fall into the 60s and 70s, making for a warm and humid night.

By Monday morning, a few isolated light showers could linger, but sea breezes are expected to strengthen throughout the day, helping spark more afternoon storms with rain chances increasing to 40–50%.

A marginal risk remains in place for a few storms to become strong to severe. Possible impacts include damaging wind gusts, heavy downpours, frequent lightning, small hail, and even a brief tornado cannot be ruled out.

Another cold front moves in early Tuesday, bringing another round of scattered showers and thunderstorms later in the day. Highs will settle into the mid-80s before unsettled weather continues through Wednesday, delivering more beneficial rainfall. After that, conditions turn hotter and drier, with temperatures returning to the lower 90s for the rest of the week.
