These wedding dresses are made out of toilet paper

Winning dress uses 48 double rolls, takes 400 hours to finish

NEW YORK – Designers across the country competed in a contest to create wedding dresses from toilet paper to try to reduce the cost.

More than 1,500 designers competed, but the winning dress was made using crochet and featured a mermaid style with a long train.

The designer said he used 48 double rolls and it took him about 400 hours to complete.
