Lake Nona Holds Off Hard-Charging Liberty 57-42

Lions Led 35-6 In First Half

September 16, 2016 – The Lake Nona Lions learned that no lead is too comfortable in football.

The Lions burst out to a 27-0 lead at home against Liberty in the first half, only to have their will tested in the second half.

The Chargers stormed back in the third quarter, cutting the Lake Nona lead to a touchdown twice in the second half.

However, the Lions got the plays they needed in the fourth quarter to win 57-42.

Lake Nona improves to 3 & 0 with the victory and plays Boone at home next week.

Liberty, which showed a ton of heart, hosts George Jenkins.
