Public search set for missing soldier Kelli Bordeaux

Army Pfc. Kelli Bordeaux vanished April 14 in Fayetteville, N.C.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Authorities announced they will launch another search in the investigation of the missing St. Cloud soldier, who vanished in North Carolina more than a week ago.

Authorities say Army Pfc. Kelli Bordeaux, 23, of St. Cloud, has been missing since April 14. Officials at Fort Bragg reported her missing to Fayetteville police two days later.

Fayetteville police said they will be coordinating a search with a post in the Cape Fear Valley Health System's Health Pavilion North. Volunteers will need to show a valid photo ID and sign in/out at the command post. After check-in, search teams will be assigned to various locations around the North Fayetteville area. The search is expected to begin at 10 a.m.  and run until all areas are searched. After completing the search, volunteers are required to check-out at the command post.

Bordeaux is assigned as a health service specialist with the 601st Area Support Medical Company, 261st Multifunctional Medical Battalion, 44th Medical Brigade.
