MIAMI, Fla. – The mother of Trayvon Martin will not have to go back to work for the next eight months, thanks to her co-workers.
Fellow employees at the Miami-Dade Housing Authority donated the vacation time to Sybrina Fulton.
The Martin Family says it's raised almost $100,000 to launch a criminal justice advocacy foundation.
George Zimmerman, the man accused of murdering 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in Sanford back in February, has raised more than $200,000.
His attorney says that money is being used for bond, paying debts, and protecting Zimmerman while he's out of jail.
