Rain expected Monday; Forecasters track tropical wave

System could develop into Tropical Storm Nadine

ORLANDO, Fla. – Another wet day is expected in Central Florida on Monday, and forecasters will keep an eye on a tropical wave in the far eastern Atlantic Ocean.

Most of the rain will fall south of Orlando, according to Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges.

"A front moves through Central Florida on Monday, bringing rain chances right along I-4 in time for the drive home," Bridges said.

The high temperature in Orlando is expected to reach 90 degrees, with a low of 73.

Drier air is forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday.

Meanwhile, a tropical wave could develop into the 14th named storm of the season in the next 48 hours.  Forecasters give the system a 40 percent chance of becoming a tropical storm.  It would be named Nadine.
