Weekend forecast: Warm, sunny

New front to roll through beginning next week

ORLANDO, Fla. – Friday was off to a chilly start but temperatures will warm up just in time for a sunny weekend.

Temperatures will reach a high of 79 degrees on Friday before cooling off.

"On into the evening hours, again dry, so good for those football games or anything you're planning to do tonight," said Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges.

Saturday high of 80 degrees Sunday it will cool down to around 69 degrees during the day with a high of 76. No chance of rain is projected.

Slight rain chances roll in at the beginning of next week with a front moving in, Bridges said.

"A new front cools us down with highs in the mid-70s by mid-week and back into the mid-50s after warming up over the weekend," Bridges said.
