Lawnmower engines recalled over fire fears

Kawasaki engines installed in dozens of mowers

ORLANDO, Fla. – We have a consumer alert about something you may have at home.

Some of the engines that power dozens of lawnmowers on the market are being recalled.

The issue -- they could leak fuel and catch fire.

We're talking about a small engine made by the company, Kawasaki.

210,000 of them are being recalled after the government received more than 100 reports of fuel leaking.

The company says this engine was installed in dozens of lawnmowers from October of last year to August of this year.
