Fire breaks out at Orlando recycling plant

No injuries reported

ORLANDO, Fla. – A large fire burning at a recycling facility near Orlando International Airport is out, and no injuries were reported.

The blaze broke out around 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Trademark Metals Recycling at 51 Landstreet Road in Orlando, about 5 miles from OIA.

Fire crews were notified of the fire by a call from an employee at the facility at 11:19 a.m., according to a news release.  A large column of thick black smoke could be seen from miles around.

The cause of the fire was termed as accidental.
