Man running bus service for UCF students accused of sexually attacking student

Student says man assaulted her while she was riding on his bus with friends

ORLANDO, Fla. – A man running a party bus service for UCF students was arrested for sexually attacking a 22-year-old woman who was on it last September.

Sharwnell Valentine, 41, was arrested Saturday by Orlando police after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Sharwnell runs a company called "Valentine Enterprises Party Buses," which takes UCF students downtown to clubs and bars.

According to the initial report, a 22-year-old student said Valentine assaulted her while she was riding on his bus with friends.

In the report, she told deputies she was riding back to her apartment near Alfaya Trail when she fell asleep on her boyfriend. Minutes later, she woke up after Valentine touched her sexually under her clothes.

Local 6 spoke with one student who said she also rode on Valentine's party bus.

"I felt really uncomfortable. He tried to sit on top of me and give me a lap dance. I pushed him off because I was with all my friends and said, 'No thank you.'"

Students told Local 6 they're worried there could be more victims because he continued to operate his party bus business after the attack.
