Deputies seek missing 70-year-old Deltona woman

Deputies say Carol Ann Hill Alderman has beginning stages of Alzheimer's

DELTONA, Fla. – Deputies are asking for the public's help in finding a 70-year-old Deltona woman who has the beginning stages of Alzheimer's.

Carol Ann Hill Alderman left her Deltona home Friday afternoon to go to a hair appointment in DeBary, according to the Volusia County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said Alderman was last seen at her home on Fallwood Drive wearing a white top and blue jeans. She left the house at about 1:30 p.m., but deputies said she never made it for her 2:30 appointment.

Deputies searched the area for her silver Kia Sorrento bearing license 435-KVD once they were notified by her husband at 7:19 p.m. However, neither Alderman nor her vehicle have been found, deputies said.

Authorities said Alderman is about 5 foot 5 inches tall, has brownish colored hair and may be wearing glasses.
