A security guard at the Club Cortile apartment complex in Kissimmee told deputies he saw the child throwing rocks with two other children. The child said her parents weren't home, according to deputies.

The security guard contacted deputies and when they arrived at the apartment, they found it to be in "disarray" with live and dead roaches on the floors and countertops, according to the report. The refrigerator had a metal chain and padlock on it and the child told deputies she had only had eaten watermelon and drunk water all day.

Deputies contacted Khoja and Hamcho, both of whom were at work, and Hamcho said she went to work and left the child with Khoja. Khoja contacted her to let Hamcho know he had to go to work early but she told deputies she forgot to get home before he left.

Khoja said he locked the child in the house and left, and that the lock on the refrigerator was to make sure the child did not eat sugary foods because she may have an unknown medical condition, according to the report.

Khoja and Hamcho were taken to Osceola County jail and the child was put in the Department of Children and Families custody.
