ORLANDO, Fla. – A 26-year-old man was stabbed several times early Thursday morning after getting into an argument while picking up his child at an Orlando apartment complex, according to police.
The stabbing happened around 1 a.m. at the Canopy Apartments on Folkstone Lane near State Road 436 and Curry Ford Road.
According to Orlando police, the man was picking up his child when he got into an argument with his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend.
Police said the boyfriend stabbed the man, who was rushed to Orlando Regional Medical Center for emergency surgery. He was listed in serious but stable condition.
The boyfriend was taken into custody.
No other details were released.
