Osceola announces 30-day warning periods for red-light cameras

First warning period begins Wednesday

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – The first 30-day warning period for Osceola County's next round of red-light safety cameras goes into effect this week.

On Wednesday, Sept. 10, the warning period will begin for the camera at Pleasant Hill Road and South Orange Blossom Trail.

The following week, Sept. 15, the warning period will begin for the camera at U.S. Highway 192 and Poinciana Boulevard.

Three other intersections will go online later in the month.

During the 30-day warning period, written notices will be mailed to drivers.

Fines are not issued during this phase.

Once the warning period is up, drivers caught running a red light, will face a $158 fine.
