KISSIMMEE, Fla. – A 50-year-old man crossing a Kissimmee roadway was struck by a smartcar and killed Tuesday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The man, whose name has not been released, died in the crash, which happened on North Orange Blossom Trail near Washington Avenue, less than a mile from Florida Hospital Kissimmee.
The FHP said a smartcar driven by a 22-year-old Orlando woman struck the man as he was attempting to cross OBT.
The crash remains under investigation.
