Cops: Man forced woman to withdraw money at ATMs

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando police are searching for the man they say got into a car at Walgreens and forced the driver to withdraw money from ATMs on Christmas Day so he could buy drugs.

The 22-year-old woman told police that she was in the parking lot of the store at Kirkman Road and Conroy Road when the man got into her car, implied he had a weapon and forced her to drive to ATMs to withdraw money.

The victim told police the man had her drive to an apartment complex off of Orange Blossom Trail, where he did some type of drugs in front of her.

He then forced her to drive to a Bank of America and a Wells Fargo bank to withdraw money from the ATMs, according to the report.

Police also said the man told the victim if she cooperated he would not hurt her, but if she didn't, he would shoot her.

The woman got away from the man when he got out of the vehicle at an ATM on John Young Parkway.

Police released video of the man sought on Monday and described him as a white male, approximately 27 years old, 5 feet 2 inches to 5 feet 5 inches tall, brown hair, brown eyes, some facial hair, wearing a white baseball cap with a dark brim and a white T-shirt.
