ORLANDO, Fla. – Local 6 has obtained new court records on the investigation into a deadly shooting outside a downtown nightclub.
Maria Godinez, 22, was killed in Aug. 19 2014 inside the Vixen nightclub by a bullet police say was meant for Kody Roach outside of the club, when he was waving around a gun.
The court documents reveal Roach told investigators during a hospital interview Aug. 28 that he had alcohol and cocaine in his system the night of the shooting.
Roach is facing murder charges in Godinez's death.
