APOPKA, Fla. – Apopka police are investigating an armed carjacking and kidnapping that happened Saturday at the Circle K at 803 N. Park Ave.  

According to police, the victim was waiting inside the car in the parking lot while her boyfriend was inside the store, when a man got in the car and sped off, holding her at gunpoint.

The suspect then took the victim to the Wekiva area of Seminole County, let her go and drove off in the car, police said.

Police are now asking for the public's help in finding the vehicle. It is a blue-purple 2000 Honda CR-V bearing Florida tag BLT R84. It has tinted windows and stock rims.

The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
