Victims arrested in violent Lake Mary home invasion

Police search for intruders

LAKE MARY, Fla. – Two men were injured in a violent armed home invasion in Lake Mary, and authorities continue to look for the intruders.

The robbery happened late Thursday near Fifth Street and Washington not far from Lake Mary Elementary School.

According to Lake Mary police, three masked men, two of whom were carrying guns, stormed into the home and robbed six people, taking cash and other items.  Two men were injured in the incident, and one of them was taken to a hospital, said police, who added that both men were expected to be OK.

Two of the victims managed to get away and call for help, police said.

The intruders sped off in a vehicle and have not been located.

Police said drugs and chemicals were found in the house, leading to the arrest of Alison Sessler, 18; Morgan Redford, 19; and Connor Sissom, 19, all of whom live at the home.  The trio was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Police said the chemicals were analyzed and found to be ones that can be used to make methamphetamine, but no meth was discovered in the home.

No other information, including a description of the assailants and the getaway vehicle, has been released.
