ORLANDO, Fla. – Orange County deputies arrested a professional wakeboarder who they say robbed a 7-Eleven over Memorial Day weekend.

Michael Kyle Evans, 20, was arrested in the robbery, which took place at the 7-Eleven on McCoy Road in Orlando.
According to deputies, a tipster recognized Evans as a professional wakeboarder, who goes by the name Kyle Evans.
A store clerk told authorities that Evans had a gun during the robbery.
Evans confessed to the crime, but did not provide a motive, according to deputies.
Evans was arrested Thursday and booked into Orange County Jail on charges of robbery with a firearm.
