BUSHNELL, Fla. – An 85-year-old woman who was reported missing has been found safe, the Sumter County Sheriff's Office said.
Deputies said Sylvia Rita Behrens, 85, was previously last heard from at 4 a.m. Saturday.
Behrens told a member of her church that she was driving to Vermont where she used to live, deputies said.
At 10 a.m. Saturday, deputies went to Behrens' home at Webster Mobil Home Park to do a welfare check and discovered she was missing.
The Sheriff's Office said Behrens was found at 7 p.m. Saturday by law enforcement officers in Locust Grove, Georgia. Deputies said she was found at a hotel in good condition.
