Deputies said Kronz became upset with the teen after he disciplined Kronz's Chihuahua for defecating inside of the house.

Kronz became irate, grabbed a machete and threatened the teen, saying that the dog weighed 14 pounds and the teen slapped the dog hard enough to hurt him, according to the report.

Deputies said Kronz then grabbed a machete from inside of the home and started swinging a machete toward the teen.

Kronz was booked into Volusia County Jail.
