PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – One woman is dead and a man is in critical condition after they were ejected from their vehicle Sunday night.
The Florida Highway Patrol said a 35-year-old man was driving a 2005 motorcycle south on Interstate 275 when for unknown reasons he left the road and struck a guardrail. He then traveled down an embankment and struck some trees.

The man and his passenger, both who have not been identified, were thrown from the motorcycle.
Troopers said the woman passenger died at the scene. The man was taken to Bayfront Hospital with critical injuries.
