Orlando police ID suspect wanted in shooting of pregnant woman

Woman taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando police have identified on Tuesday the suspect wanted in the shooting of a pregnant woman Monday night in Parramore.

The shooting was reported at 632 W. Columbia St. just before 7 p.m.

Police issued an arrest warrant for Latoya Jackson, 31, for attempted homicide and aggravated assault with a firearm in the shooting. 

The investigation revealed Jackson had been threatening the victim on Facebook. She is actively being sought by Orlando Police.

Officers said the 29-year-old victim, who was pregnant, suffered a gunshot wound to her upper back. She was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
