Charges dropped against duo in Volusia County sexual battery case

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – The state attorney's office says charges have been dropped against a duo that faced multiple charges, including sexual batter.

Deputies initially said Terrell Williamson, 18, forced the same woman to have sex with him three times over the last week, deputies said. Deputies said one time he pointed a gun at the woman, another time he held a pillow over her face and in a third incident he punched her and held her down against her will.

Daria Hall, 18, was arrested on sexual battery and false imprisonment charges after deputies say she was present for all three incidents.

The state attorney's office told News 6 due to conflicting statements gathered during the investigation and a review, there was insufficient evidence to prosecute the case.

Charges were dropped against Hall and Williamson.
