ORLANDO, Fla. – One person was injured Friday and State Road 408 was shut down after a scooter burst into flames on the East West Expressway, Orange County Fire Rescue officials said.
Officials said the person was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center as a trauma alert after the person's scooter somehow burst into flames.

All lanes of westbound State Road 408 were shut down at Oxalis. Traffic is currently being let by on the shoulder and left lane.
