Voluntary recall issued for Entenmann's Little Bites

1 injury reported, FDA says

A voluntary recall has been issued on Wednesday for Entenmann's Little Bites snacks: fudge brownies, chocolate chip muffins and variety packs distributed to retail stores in the past two weeks, according to the Food and Drug Administration.

The company that makes the Little Bites products, Bimbo Bakeries USA, Inc. in Illinois , said the snacks are being recalled because of "small pieces of plastic caused by a manufacturing failure."

The products recalled are the  Entenmann's Little Bites Fudge Brownies (5 pack), Little Bites Chocolate Chip Muffins (5 pack), Little Bites Chocolate Chip Muffins (10 pack) and  Little Bites Variety (20 pack with Fudge Brownies, Chocolate Chip Muffins and Blueberry Muffins).

Consumers should look for the products with the code number "3098" printed next to the "Best By" date of Oct. 8 or Sept. 24.

No other Entenmann's products were affected.

Consumers can dispose or f the product or return the product to the store for a full refund.
