Man, 18, dies after shooting in Orlando, deputies say

Victim discovered shot on roadway

ORLANDO, Fla. – An 18-year-old man is dead after a shooting Friday afternoon in Orlando, the Orange County Sheriff's Office said.

The shooting happened at 3:52 p.m. in the 4800 block of South Texas Avenue.

The victim, identified by the Sheriff's Office as Derrick Russaw, was discovered shot on the roadway.

Deputies said Russaw was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

No other details were given.
