VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – Volusia County Beach Safety crews are warning swimmers to be on the lookout for Portuguese man-of-wars.
Lifeguards issued two separate advisories over the weekend after spotting the sea creatures washing ashore.
Safety officials said area beaches are also becoming crowded with spring breakers.
Crews are reminding vacationers to be responsible while enjoying the beach.
